What Is Wobenzym N?
Wobenzym N is a bona fide systemic enzyme formulate supplement that has been used over the years to support joint health. Wobenzym N was first used in Germany as a pharmaceutical product forty years ago. Over time, the product has been improved and updated. Wobenzym N is synergistic combination of heb-based enzymes, natural pancreatic enzymes and several antioxidants. However, despite these strong health claims from the manufacturer, Mucos Pharma GmbH, Wobenzym N is not intended to replace any conventional medical evaluation and treatment.
The product promises to;
- Improve Flexibility and Mobility
- Supports Joint and Tendon Health
- Temporary Relief from Aches, Pains and Muscle Soreness due to Everyday Activity
The product I manufacture by a German company known as Mucos Pharma GmbH. It has been in production since 1975.
List of Ingredients
How Does Wobenzym N Work?
Wobenzym N is an enzyme blend that contains clinically studied enzymes such as pancreatin, papain, bromelain, trypsin, and chymotrypsin. All of these enzymes belong to the group known as protease, which are known to break down proteins. Inflammation and pain in our bodies is called by proteins known as TNF which is acted upon by Wobenzym.
Wobenzym N Advantages
- Rich history of the manufacture
- Clinical research is available
Wobenzym N Disadvantages
- Poor web presence
- Slow acting
- Causes digestion difficulties
- Low potent
Directions for Use
Wobenzym N should be taken on at least 45 minutes before a meal or at least 2 hrs after a meal i.e. on an empty stomach. This is to ensure that the enzymes in the product don’t digest food proteins and instead they’re absorbed into the bloodstream, where they launch their anti-inflammatory effects.
In the case of chronic pain relief, users are advised to take 3-5 tablets up to three times a day. If the case is more severe, then it is recommended that you take 5-10 tablets three times a day for chronic pain. Wobenzym can be taken consecutively for 1-2 months or longer for severe chronic conditions, and 1-6 six weeks for acute conditions.
What Research has Been Done?
There have been several clinical studies conducted to establish the efficiency and safety of Wobenzym N. In the year 2001 and 2004, a study by a Canadian University established that Wobenzym N can be effectively used as an alternative form of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs when it comes to relieving mild joint pain. The study was conducted on Guinea pigs and did not extend to humans.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Some users may experience digestive disruptions such as diarrhoea and bloated stomachs. Taking smaller doses more frequently can alleviate this.
Is Wobenzym N Effective?
Wobenzym is effective on the long run. However, it can take a long time to act making it not ideal. Besides, taking forever to act, the product has several side effects that you must endure. If there are alternatives, it is highly recommended that you go for the alternative.
Is Wobenzym N Right For You?
Depending on your interpretation of right, then this product is right for you. If you are looking for a solution that is fast acting and safe, then this product is not right for you. But if you don’t mind waiting for a couple of weeks, then it might good for you.
What Should I Expect When Taking Wobenzym N?
Wobenzym N promises a natural approach to chronic pain. You should not expect any fast acting action since the product takes time to act on the pain.
Will Wobenzym N Show Results?
Wobenzym N is advertised as an effective and natural remedy to chronic pain. However, the product doesn’t work the magic we would expect for a product that should be healing chronic pain. Pain is one thing that we don’t want in our lives.
And any time we take a product to alleviate the pain, we expect it to work immediately. Wobenzym N does work but it works too slowly for any meaningful, benefits to chronic pain. The product too doesn’t do enough to address the root cause of the pain.
How Long Does It Take To See The Result?
According to the manufacture, you should start experiencing healing benefits within the first seven to fourteen days. However, from the numerous customer feedbacks, only 15% of the Wobenzym users reported any positive results within that given time period. Over 65% of the users take more than four weeks to experience the first positive benefit of the product. 15% of the users don’t even experience any benefit after up to six years on continued usage.
- If you are suffering from any terminal illness, or taking other medications it is highly recommended that you avoid taking this supplement. The full list of ingredients is unknown and thus it is very difficult to discern the interactions or side effects.
- If you are pregnant or breast feeding, please consult your care-giver.
- The product should only be taken by adults between the age of 18-64 years unless under the guidance of a professional.
As much as this product looks perfect on paper, it is still not what a consumer would want to invest $50 a month for. The clinical trials are absent and thus we can’t know its effectiveness. In fact, the official website is mum on some critical information such as turnaround and interactions. Consumers have also complained about its slow nature of showing results, side effects and other complains concerning marketing.
