Pain is experienced if joints are locked or become difficult to move Usually, the problem starts if the tissues, ligaments and muscles surrounding around the joints are damaged. Patients may experience difficulty in walking or standing but may feel improvement when lying down.

Some remedies that may help lessen the discomfort are available at home. Warm bath or warm compress and massage are common therapies. Full rest, exercise and stretching can also help.

Taking anti inflammatory medication can also help.

if the pain does not alleviate after application of rest and home remedies, seek medical attention at once.
Back pains, although severe, do not need medical attention most of the time. However, if the pain becomes frequent of or does not improve with home remedies and comes with fever, you should consult a doctor as it can be a symptom of a much bigger problem.

The doctor will conduct diagnostic tests and medical history investigation to know the symptoms experienced. There can also be some interviews to know if there are other primary causes of the pain.

Some treatments may include injection, anti-inflammatory oral medications, physical therapy and exercise.
