Microlactin - Does Microlactin Work?

Editor Review: 3.5 / 5.0 Microlactin editor's review
Debra Grant

Microlactin is the term for a type of substance derived from milk, and is also the brand name of a joint health product made by Swiss Natural Sources. The Microlactin brand is sold in retail stores or from the manufacturer who features it on their official company site. While the site doesn’t actually give much detailed information, a good amount of detail about the product can be found via the retail sites, where it sells at an average price of $26.00. Swiss Natural Sources Microlactin is a patented product, meaning it has been clinically tested and proven effective in temporarily relieving the pain caused by damaged, inflamed and aching joints. Because joint pain can affect adults of all ages, Microlactin is suitable for anyone over the age of 19 and it can be used in conjunction with other joint health treatments.

Microlactin – Facts

Microlactin

Microlactin is comprised solely of milk proteins extracted from Bovine milk. Studies have shown that these proteins, which are safe for those with lactose intolerance, can inhibit Leukocytes in the body from entering the joint cavities and causing inflammation, the basis of most joint pain. Most consumers have found that Microlactin has a positive affect after two weeks of beginning treatment, and it is recommended that 4 capsules are taken twice a day, reducing the dose to 2 twice a day over time.

Microlactin – Positive Features

  • The Microlactin formula is patented
  • Microlactin is affordable
  • It is widely available
  • The ingredients are explained
  • The formula is 90% lactose free
  • Dosage can be reduced over time

Microlactin – Negative Features

  • No satisfaction guarantees are provided
  • There are no customer testimonials or FAQ section
  • It is not suitable for vegans

Microlactin – Conclusion

The use of Microlactin to treat joint pain is something that many consumers may not be familiar with, (Glucosamine and Chondroitin formulas being the more widely-known, traditional ingredients). However, it is clear, given the clinical evidence, that these milk proteins do have a beneficial effect and would definitely be a good choice for those who cannot take the fish-based products due to allergies.
